In these fields, the customer’s requirements are extremely strict: proven management experience, perfect functioning in temperatures between –55 and +125 °C, severe performance and quality criteria, radiation resistance and conformal coating shells able to resist contamination.
These are now cost-sensitive fields, that, in order to meet budgets often equivalent to commercial applications, share the same competitive product and cost challenges: these are nevertheless important factors to enable the result transferring from this advanced technological field to more traditional adoption in wider consumption markets.
In order to meet these requirements, PRIMA ELECTRONICS proposes solutions able to operate in extreme conditions (congruent with MIL-STD-810F standards and with an IP65 protection level), together with strength and versatility (which are often opposing factors) and strict cost control. This is made possible not only by an “in house” design and production but also by the company’s skill in facing the problem of managing the product’s life cycle (which may be for more then 10 years) with all the product components that might become obsolete.
