OSAI MERGER

At the beginning of 2009 OSAI S.p.A. was merged into PRIMA ELECTRONICS S.p.A.

Since July 2007 PRIMA ELECTRONICS has held 100% of OSAI, and, considering the strategic PRIMA Group program to further develop the numerical control and industrial automation segments, OSAI has now been completely merged into PRIMA ELECTRONICS.

 

PRIMA ELECTRONICS’s capital is 100% PRIMA INDUSTRIE SpA (www.primaindustrie.com), a public company on the STAR market of Borsa Italiana and a leader in laser machines worldwide.

Following the merge with OSAI, PRIMA ELECTRONICS has over 200+ employees and sales revenues of 40+ M€ (FY 2008) in industrial electronics.

The introduction of OSAI into the group, bringing with it design, manufacturing and industrialisation resources of a very high level, will undoubtedly give a considerable advantage to our customers: PRIMA ELECTRONICS considers the recent acquisition as an opportunity to not only continue supplying the current customers and markets, but also as a great opportunity to develop new technology in order to further improve product lines.
