PRIMA ELECTRONICS adopts the Just-In-Time model in order to be part of the customer “supply chain”. Today PRIMA ELECTRONICS is able to assemble about 150.000 complex boards per year (17000 components per hour) on two SMT assembly lines over two shifts.
One line is using a vapour phase oven, to give the best quality for medium/high complexity boards, and the other a conventional oven (hot air) for higher productivity and less complex products.
PRIMA ELECTRONICS manufactures products in different lots and volumes, also depending on the production stage: from project validation prototypes to 0-batch pre-process validation and even high production volumes.
PRIMA ELECTRONICS is able to set-up dedicated production lines to specific customer products, depending on customer agreement and needs.

REWORKS SYSTEM: 1 Zevac DSR 3, 1 Zevac ONYX 24 per BGA - PTH assembly: PRIMA ELECTRONICS accomplishes the PTH fulfilment through an external assembly line
- Boards washing: Barbieri washing-machine with demineralising and dehydrating station is used to remove residual products. PRIMA ELECTRONICS normally uses "no-clean" flows but sometimes cards get cleaned up according to customers’ requirements
- Conformal Coating: electronic boards can be painted for protection from severe weather conditions
