Mechanical
PRIMA ELECTRONICS can take responsibility of the whole product’s mechanical design with an expert team endowed with dedicated software tools (Solid-edge and Pro Engineer). 

Software
The most widespread microprocessors (8/16/32 bit, DSP, CISC, RISC, etc.) and operating systems (Windows, Linux, RTAI Real-time Linux, VxWorks, Windows CE) are normally used by our project engineers in designing embedded and real-time systems, user interfaces, monitoring and control data systems, data acquisition systems etc.

  • PRIMA ELECTRONICS develops Board Support Packages for the most widespread real-time operating systems as well as application software  in many different fields.
  • PRIMA ELECTRONICS designs both digital control and power electronics, such as controllers, I/O peripherals, power supplies, inverters and servodrives. PRIMA ELECTRONICS is internally developing boards lay-out, 2 layers and multi-layer, as well as running internal pre-compliance tests. Certification tests are carried out in co-operation with external certified and university labs, such as Politecnico di Torino.
  • PRIMA ELECTRONICS is offering support and skills for electromagnetic and anechoic room testing, allowing customers products to meet pre-series production requirements, already in the design and prototyping stage (Pre-compliance EMC, CE marking, CSA/UL marking, etc).
  • PRIMA ELECTRONICS assists customers in the acquisition of CE and CSA/UL marking or even obtains it directly on their behalf, thanks to its testing experience and best practices.
  • PRIMA ELECTRONICS’ technical staff proposes streamlined solutions, through PCB layout design,  detailed project documents, operation, monitoring and testing instructions.
  • Supported by a high quality environment, production and testing data are used to increase quality and reliability of products and to lower production costs, even for medium/small product volumes.
